Bands, labels, maintaining a website like Music Waves has a cost (for example our hosting is about 400$/year). Advertising is for us the only way to get a little money to pay these costs. We thank you in advance everyone who will help us to continue our work by byuing an advertising space here...

Reviewed or not, this page will allow you to configure your own advertising on Music Waves. We offer you two options: the classic banner very easy to implement and the Flash Banner with sound which requires a little work to set up.

Before describing in more details these two ways of promotion, we must clarify that our system is based on rotating banners.

Important informations:
  • We accept banners in .Jpg, .Gif and even Flash (.swf) formats (300 ko max)
  • Banners are displayed at the top of every public page
  • Banners can be displayed from 1 to 4 weeks.
  • Statistically, we have an average of 1,300 visitors who read about 5000 pages per day, excluding forum
  • Payments are made via Paypal(you do not have to register for an account). If a problem is encountered after the payment and if no solution is found, we guarantee full money back.

    For the creation of any banner, you will be asked to provide with:
  • The amount you want to pay per week
  • The type of considered banner
  • The display period (1 to 4 weeks)

    The amount to be paid is specified in real time based on your own selections.

    Here is the detailed description of the two types of banners available:

    1. The Classical banner



    The classical banner is the easier way to make your promotion on Music Waves. We just ask you to provide with the following information and data:
  • The banner with the following parameters : size 468 (width) x 60 (height) - size < 300 Ko
  • The type of banner (gif, jpg, swf)
  • The text you want to display when the mouse cursor is over the banner
  • The URL (a Myspace, a website, a link amazon for example) to redirect visitor when he clicks on the banner

    As soon as the payment is checked, your advertising will be online for the duration chosen.

    2. The Flash banner with sound



    This way of promotion is by far the most effective but it takes a little time to prepare. It allows you not only to visually present your release, but it also offers visitors the opportunity to listen to your music via the sample that you will provide with. To build it, you just have to complete the form giving us:
  • Name of the band
  • Title of the album
  • Kind of music
  • Year of publication of your album
  • Image of the front cover of the CD (100x100 | 50 KB max)
  • Music file in MP3 format that you want to be listened to (3 MB maximum)
  • A maximum of three links and text that will guide the reader if he is interested in your music (iTunes, link to the official myspace or Amazon.fr for example)

    As soon as the payment is checked and your data validated, your advertisement will be online.

    We hope that these two promotional ways will satisfy you and bring you many additional music lovers.
